About SINCT

The Society of Invasive and Noninvasive Cardiac Technologist (SINCT) is a nonprofit professional organization committed to enhancing the standards of cardiac science and technology.
SINCT promotes and encourages the participation of cardiac technologists to enhance professionalism and ensure high-quality patient care in invasive cardiac cath labs and noninvasive laboratories.
SINCT exists to create and maintain professional standards, promote continuing medical education, and serve as a guiding body for cardiac technologists within the invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular care team.
Registered cardiac technologists are educated and skilled in the applied science of performing cardiac testing, monitoring, and evaluating the human heart and its functions. They work alongside physicians to provide critical patient information that helps determine the best possible treatment based on diagnosis, particularly in intensive coronary care units.
